Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified
Jason Seed is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has pursued music, psychology, and nursing since starting his studies at Indiana University in the 90s. Jason brings many years of experience as a provider to the therapeutic relationship, focusing on the concepts of harmony, counterpoint, balance, and symbiotic connection to foster a basis upon which to bring about positive growth and change. With a history of working with schizophrenic, bipolar, depressive, ADHD, PTSD, and other patients of a wide range of ages requiring varied psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological therapies, he’s built a knowledge base and skill set that can apply to many settings. Jason’s approach to mental health focuses on addressing the individual and unique needs of patients to bring balance to the complex interaction of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Jason enjoys studying math and performing as a composer and musician, having worked with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and numerous ensembles in the US and Europe, and has had his works performed in such disparate locations as Vienna, Beijing, the Canary Islands, Krakow, New York and others.
