Ann holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry and Poetry in Translation from Drew University. Ann is currently engaged in her post-Master’s clinical supervised training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. Her clinical supervisor is Dr. Jose (Joey) Tapia-Fuselier. Ann has experience working with abuse and sexual assault survivors using a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. Ann works with clients of all ages from children to senior citizens, supporting clients through reclamation of the self following trauma or abuse, pregnancy loss and other grief processes, LGBTQIA+ related challenges, and teaching trauma-informed mindfulness skills. Ann loves to write, cook, hike, construct crosswords, and spend time with her family.
