Nadine Doughty, PsyD, Psychologist Candidate is a (pre-licensed) psychologist in the State of Colorado. She earned both her masters and doctorate degrees in Clinical psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from The University of the Rockies and Ashford University. During Nadine’s practicum and pre-doctoral internship she was privileged to work with individuals whose diagnoses included trauma, sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She completed her post-doctoral internship with Colorado Department of Corrections in Canon City, Colorado. Nadine’s passion and research was based on Equine-facilitated psychotherapy for individuals who have sustained trauma/sexual trauma. Her love for nature and horses support her theoretical and experiential approach to therapy from a mindfulness practice in the treatment of traumatic stress. Hobbies and self-care come in the form of hiking, camping, and just being in nature. Nadine shares her love of the ‘great outdoors’ whenever possible, with her family.
