Sarah Stover is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, with a primary focus on trauma and resiliency. Sarah attended the University of Colorado- Colorado Springs for her Master of Arts in Counseling. A Michigan native, Sarah has lived in four states and one foreign country prior to moving to Colorado Springs. Through experience, education, and research, Sarah believes in the importance of mind-body integration in the practice of mental health and well-being. Sarah uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that emphasizes the use of mindfulness and practical skill application. Drawing on the influences of existential psychotherapy and social engagement theory, Sarah incorporates concepts of empathic connection, social responsibility, and humor into her practice. Sarah can often be found on local trails in her spare time, running or hiking with her dogs. She enjoys coffee, gummy bears, good books, TikTok videos, and laughing until her face hurts.
