A growing body of research supports yoga therapy as a way to reduce depression, reduce stress levels, increase coping, and improve concentration and attention for both adults and children. By combining mindfulness skills, cognitive behavioral strategies, dialectical behavior strategies, with yoga, we can help address issues related to anxiety, grief, sleep problems, somatic complaints such as headaches & stomach aches, and trauma-related issues.
Beginning in January 2019, the children’s yoga classes will be held at the NFCS studio, located at 2906 Beacon St. Suite B, Monday and Wednesdays evenings from 530-630. These classes will be led by Dr. Cano. Call the offices to get scheduled as soon as possible as class size is limited.
